Rob Humphreys founded the Humphreys Yacht Design (HYD) in 1974, after graduating successfully in Industrial Design (Engineering).
The HYD, who started designing small yacht racing specially built, over the years it has expanded its activities giving rise to the series production of the yacht.
In the course of his 39-year career, the design of Humphreys and have won many prestigious awards and races.
The Azuree 46', designed by Rob Humphreys, epitomizing the international direction of the brand was the first outcome of the new strategy. The flagship of the Azuree performance-focused series received remarkable attention from the International audience.

Giovanni Ceccarelli was born in Ravenna, Italy where he currently lives.
He started designing yachts in the office of his father, who is the designer of more than 1000 EC projects since 1977 to this day. Ceccarelli has an engineering degree from the University of Bologna and has designed many national and international award-winning sailing yachts.
Giovanni Ceccarelli was the head designer for both Mascalzone Latino, which participated in the America's Cup in 2003, and the +39 in 2007.
Azuree 40 was the first Azuree Yachts model designed and developed together by Giovanni Ceccarelli, and has been a really new concept boat in 2010, thanks to its wide hull and clear-cut body shape.
The second model designed by Ceccarelli for Sirena Marine was Azuree 33, characterized by an innovative design with a full-chine hull.
Azuree 33's received the Barca dell'Anno –Boat of the Year- award during the 50th International Genoa Boat Show in 2010, and continue to realize great results also in race, as the winnings of Rolex Middle Sea Race 2015, RomaX2 and Barcolana 2018.
Finally, the revamped Azuree 33C, presented in 2015, has the same hull as Azuree 33, with a new look more sportif and actractive. Inside, an innovative redesigned surpising interior offers an open space loft arrangement, by removing the Master Cabin bulkhead. |
